Abstract
This chapter aims to understand: (2) the processes of speciation and hybridization; (2) the taxonomic and phylogenetic relationships among forest tree species; (3) the molecular mechanisms by which genomes evolve; and (4) how mutualisms between species can influence evolution in both (i.e. coevolution).
