Closer cooperation among human, animal, environment and plant health disciplines within One Health offers significant incremental benefits. These include saving human and animal lives, maintaining plant health, sustaining environmental services, and achieving financial savings that cannot be attained in isolation. One Health thrives on cooperation, which involves dialogue, information sharing and mutual learning. Transdisciplinarity is central to One Health approaches, and we aim to expand our One Health Knowledge Bank with relevant examples and resources.
The One Health Knowledge Bank recognises the need for a transdisciplinary approach to One Health, which is why we have chosen to highlight Transdisciplinary content.
